The following calendar provides information about how to participate
in different kinds of events that are held regularly all
over the state:
1) State Funder Report Due Dates - Highlighted in pink. Click on the report or date for additional information.
2) Full-Day Trainings - Highlighted in green. Full-day training sessions are required for new HMIS users and are a helpful refresher for current users. Participation in HMIS trainings involves a fee and registration. Click on the training or date for time, location, and sign-up information. Before you register, please be sure you have read and understand our training policies and prerequisites.
3) Refresher Trainings - Highlighted in yellow. Refresher trainings are generally half-day trainings that focus specifically on skills and updates in data entry and reporting for current HMIS users. Attending refresher trainings requires registration. Click on the training or date for time, location, and sign-up information. Before you register, please be sure you have read and understand our training policies and prerequisites.
4) Webinars and User Group Meetings - Highlighted in blue. Webinars are online trainings or meetings facilitated by HMIS staff. Webinars are free of charge, but online registration is required. Click on the webinar meeting and follow the link inside to register. User Groups are open Q & A forums that are open to anyone who wants to learn more about specifics in HMIS, discuss with other participants, or ask questions. User Group Meetings usually focus on a particular funding source or part of HMIS. User Groups are also free of charge, but reservations are appreciated. 5) Governing Group Meetings - Highlighted in purple. For Governing Group members, to discuss the latest issues regarding HMIS. This is a public forum, but only official members are allowed to vote on official decisions. Click on the meeting or date for time and location.
