What Will Be Covered at the 2021 Annual Meeting?

Annual Meeting materials, including the full agenda, the proposed changes to the Governing Board bylaws, and information about upcoming HMIS Governing Board elections, are now available on the Annual Meetings page of the website.

Key meeting topics include the status of technical assistance from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), a presentation by the Minnesota Tribal Collaborative, updates on Governing Board elections and bylaws, and updates from the Governing Board’s committees, including the Board’s new Racial Equity and Data Disparities Committee.

One of the most important parts of the Annual Meeting is the opportunity for the HMIS community to give feedback to the Governing Board on issues affecting Minnesota's HMIS. Come prepared to share your thoughts on important issues like:

  • Technical Assistance from HUD

  • ICA’s performance review

  • The Board’s Racial Equity and Data Disparities work

  • Priorities for the Governing Board over the coming year

How Can Meeting Attendees Engage in the Meeting?

We will be using a feedback platform, Mentimeter, again at this year’s Annual Meeting. Mentimeter allows you to share your thoughts and feedback anonymously, and we can all see the results in real time!

New to Mentimeter? If you’ve never used Mentimeter before, you can access it from a web browser on any computer or smartphone – there’s nothing that you need to install or download. During the meeting, you’ll simply go to the Mentimeter website (https://www.menti.com), enter the code from the Annual Meeting agenda or presentation slide, and then you’ll be able to see and respond to discussion questions. You can watch an overview of Mentimeter here or try a practice Menti here (scroll to “Test Mentimeter”).
