Participate in HMIS

Participate in HMIS

***Agencies interested in joining Minnesota's HMIS are temporarily unable to do so, owing to the ongoing HMIS software transition from WellSky Community Services to Eccovia ClientTrack. The go-live date for the new HMIS is July 1, 2024, after which agencies will once more be able to join the system. For more information on the software transition, including the reasoning behind the temporary pause in new agency onboarding, visit our the Software Transition page.

The New Agency Inquiry Form remains open for submissions, and agencies interested in HMIS participation are encouraged to fill it out so that ICA can review requests and follow up with questions as needed. Please note that responses to form submissions may be slower than usual as a result of software transition-related work being prioritized.***

Interested in Participating in Minnesota’s HMIS?

Whether your agency is brand new to HMIS or returning to the system after an absence, you will need to step through our agency onboarding process. To get started, submit a New Agency Inquiry Form to let us know more about your agency, including why you are interested in participating in Minnesota’s HMIS. If you have any questions about completing the inquiry form, contact our Helpdesk at mnhmis@icalliances.org.

Once an agency has been approved to participate in HMIS and has completed the required paperwork, it may be several weeks before the system has been fully configured for data entry and reporting. Only when that system configuration is finished can staff from your agency register for HMIS user training. User training is a requirement for anyone who will be accessing the database.

How Much Does Participation Cost?

User license fees are the only cost associated with agency’s participation in HMIS.
