Changes to Report Launch Forms

We hear you! Report launch forms are long, wordy and it’s not always clear what prompts need to be filled out. We’re in the process of making changes to our report launch forms to make filling out report prompts easier. The change is already visible in the Core Demographics & Outcomes (001) report and over the next few months will be available in all our reports. Here are the 3 changes we’re making:

Checkbox to show or hide step-by-step report prompt instructions

Most of the instructions will be hidden by default. However, full step-by-step instructions will still be there! Check the Show Report Instructions checkbox to see all the instructions.

Required prompts in bold

Prompts that must be filled out already have a red asterisk and soon will also have text in bold letters.

Standardized report intro

Finally, all report launch forms will have a brief introduction about the uses of the report, followed by links to resources related to the report, and basic instructions.

Will the reports workspace always be changing?

We expect these changes to be the last major change to the reports workspace for at least a few months, if not longer. The next major change to the reports workspace will likely occur in October around the required data standards changes.
