In Case You Noticed - Grant Program Name Change in HMIS!

As you enter data in HMIS, you might notice that a few grant programs, AKA funding sources, have had their names changed. Specifically, any active grant that had "OEO" in its name has had "OEO" removed! This change in HMIS has been made to align with the 2024 creation of the Homelessness, Housing and Support Services Administration (HHSSA) at the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

The three grants that have had "OEO" removed from their names are the following:

• MN DHS-Emergency Services Program

• MN DHS-Homeless Youth Act

• MN DHS-Transitional Housing Program

ICA will also begin removing "OEO" from ~200 active projects' names in HMIS.

Aside from how a grant or project is labeled, nothing will change for the user, and this name doesn't change how any data is entered into HMIS. We just wanted our awesome users to know that grant and project names were being updated.
