PIT Data Clean Up Effort: Thank You

The deadline for client-level data clean up for the PIT night has passed. ICA thanks all HMIS users for their efforts to improve the data quality for the PIT night.

The Point In Time (PIT) count took place at the end of January. Last month ICA asked HMIS users to do a check of their agency's data for the PIT night. This data clean up can make a big difference for how the data reflects the hard work that is being done to help individuals and families experiencing homelessness. 

The client-level data clean up deadline has passed and your efforts have certainly moved the needle. The data is in better shape. We appreciate the time it took to work on data clean up.  

You can still use the same tools, the data checkers, the data quality reports, and Helpdesk to keep the data in good shape beyond the scope of the PIT night. That regular, ongoing effort will be beneficial in many ways.
