Software Review Announcement: Eccovia, Inc. has been selected as the new MN HMIS Database Vendor!

After a year-long, community-engaged process, the HMIS Governing Board voted transition from our current software vendor to a new one: Eccovia, Inc. The Governing Board and ICA are excited to start working with Eccovia on the transition!

The Governing Board would like to thank ICA staff, the vendors who submitted proposals, and our HMIS community who gave input throughout the process. We are confident that Eccovia’s HMIS platform, ClientTrack, and its companion data warehouse, ClientInsight, will help us to realize our vision for Minnesota’s HMIS.

While ICA prepares for this change in the background, the user experience is the same. We are working with Eccovia on a timeline. Here is what is just ahead:

Early in 2024, a small team at ICA will begin working with Eccovia's team to plan the data migration and building out the new system with what we need. Along the way, Eccovia will lead workshops with ICA, users and partners to design how the initial system will look.

When we go live, our users will have a tool ready to use for the providers and programs we have today, but it will be a different way of doing things. We have a lot to learn over the next few months and as the pieces come together, we are committed to sharing with you and providing opportunities for input as we build this new client and user-centered system.

If you have any comments or questions throughout the transition, please feel to reach out to John Ward (john.ward@icalliances.org); you can also visit the page we’ve dedicated to the HMIS software transition. Thank you all for your patience as we move through this transition!
