First Set of “Data Checkers” Available Now!

ICA released a new style of data quality report called a “Data Checker” on May 29.

What is a “Data Checker”?
These data quality reports are designed to be used for self-monitoring, meaning they are intended for use by the agencies doing data entry, rather than by monitoring entities like funders.

How can they help me?
See the Knowledge Base articles linked below for explanations on when each data checker could be used:

You can also find guidance on how to use a data checker within the report itself, by scrolling down to the “Using This Report” section.

Where can I find them?
Data checkers have their own dedicated menu within the Home workspace.

Your feedback is welcome!
The data checkers that have been released are in a draft form, and we invite you to share whether they’re working as expected; we'd also love to get any suggestions you have for improvements to the current lineup or ideas for additional data checkers. You can submit your feedback via our Helpdesk (mnhmis@icalliances.org) or bring your questions about these reports to the new monthly Reporting Q&A Webinars that begin on June 24.
